FOR KNEES Clip Hair After brushing the horse, rub Victory Lane onto both knees for a few minutes, then continue to prepare the horse for jogging, training or to race. This is especially beneficial if the horse has "colt knees" or if he is a little arthritic. At the end of the day, you can rub some more Victory Lane on the knees and then wrap them with plastic wrap or just put knee sweatboots on them or just leave them open. It depends on the horse. HOCKS Just follow the same instructions as for the knees. BOWED TENDONS & SUSPENSORY LIGAMENTS Clip[ Hair Apply VL liberally while massaging the injured leg. Continue doing this for 10 minutes or so. When finished you can either: 1-wrap the leg with a clean quilt then wrap it with plastic wrap, then stall bandage over it. 2-apply a poultice over the tendon or suspensory, then wrap with a WET newspaper, then a DAMP quilt, then the stall bandage. If using VL this way, I suggest LEAVING the leg done up for 2 days. It seems to work much better if left on. SHOULDERS Rub VL into both shoulders before AND after workout. Apply the liniment liberally while meassaging. HIPS & STIFLES Massage VL liberally onto the hip & stifle areas' for a few minutes. Do this before AND after the horses workout.
